My name is iain maitland. I'm a software engineer at AWS in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. I've worked at a few startups big and small over the last 7 years or so as a frontend and then fullstack developer. My resume is here.

Professionally I am currently part of a platform team, working mostly in Typescript on cloud native, data intensive applications at AWS scale.

I also like playing around with Rust, like this blog - the source is here: github/imaitland/blog and machine learning.

In my free time I enjoy, writing, photography, poetry, and painting.
